The cushion formulation is being reformulated with the same overall composition by combining ingredients to achieve equivalency to the legacy formulation. We are communicating to you of a location change for an ingredient used in the chloroprene cushion formulation for our P-Clamp family of products. A neoprene base ingredient, Denka Neoprene WB (US) is now supplied as Denka EM-40 (JP). Denka EM-40 is equivalent in its properties and performance and does not effect form, fit or function of our P-Clamp products. | Download | |||
| 07/01/2025 | P-25-027964 - Rev Change. A necessary change to the chloroprene cushion formulation used in our P-Clamp family of products. This change is due to the material manufacturer s discontinuation of the base Neoprene compound. We have reformulated the recipe utilizing a high quality and readily available Neoprene compound grade. Both compounds are from the same manufacturer. To ensure continued quality and compliance, we have rigorously tested and validated the alternative formulation against the AMS 3207 specification. Chloroprene material test coupons were produced using this new formulation and have met all specified material requirements. Comprehensive qualification testing of pre-production P-Clamps using this new formulation is currently in progress, with an estimated implementation of 1-July. Upon successful qualification, all 10 affected part numbers will be revised to the next revision letter. | Download | |||
