We are writing to provide an update to PCN-25-265088 regarding the temporary removal of Mil-Spec approvals for the following TE Connectivity heat-shrink tubing product families: • RNF-100 (Black and Colored Versions) – Note: Only RNF-100 versions with alpha color codes (e.g., “BK”) carry Mil-Spec approval; RNF-100 with numeric color codes do not carry Mil-Spec • Versafit (Black and Colored Versions) • TAT-125 • RP-4800 TE Connectivity is pleased to confirm that the previously communicated supplier-related change has been successfully reviewed and approved by NAVAIR, and Mil-Spec qualification has been reinstated for the impacted products listed on the NAVAIR Qualified Products List (QPL). This PCN is to inform customers of changes to the packaging of the boxes used for the Heat Shrink Tubing products supplied in the Stick format (-STK, 1.2metre/4ft lengths). The new packaging is to improve the robustness of the packaging during transportation and storage. It moves away form the square cross section boxes to a more rectangular cross section.
